Wow, Boston followed by Otakon was insane. We're only now getting the apartment back in order! As a bitter sweet outcome, Otakon was slower than last year despite our increased effort but I'm blaming the economy but we made more stock and so we're set for our old items for a while. We really don't sell things that are cheap enough yet, but we will! We only have about a month to really get our new stuff made. We're hoping to branch out into arm warmers and make at least new plushies!
Right now, instead, I'm taking it easy. Towards the end of next week I'm planning to kick it up again, but the research stuff is ended, nothing is really sucking up my time, and school will start way too soon.
Furthermore! I finally came up with a story line that I really like, set about 500 years later in the chobie's world. I'm making the page size fit a 5x8 so my computer can handle it better plus I've come up with a few ideas to make it so I actually have time in between my school schedule... which looks a little bleak again between classes and tutoring and lab! I'm pretty optimistic though, although this is my third attempt XDD third times a charm though? Also I think I've found the right mindset about it which is hopefully important to finishing it... or at least getting past page 3!
The main point is "MORE ART SOON.. (maybe)".
Next stops for Chobie Studios is TigerCon in Towson, MD in Sept followed by NekoCon in Hampton, VA in November! Maybe get to see some friends in Towson!
I'm off to gather Rebecca from work so we can play Dokapon Kingdom: The friendship ruining game. Dokapon Kingdom = Amazing.
