Whew! Another semester down completes my first year! This semester was a bit rougher though ;~; 18 credits + 40 hour work week = No sanity. Next year I’m working much less at HR Block, weekends only I think. The good news is I got all A’s this time around! No annoying B to haunt me and pee in my off brand cheerios! I’ve also got an internship, which was described to me by a friend, who did it last year, as outdoor work such as taking blood samples and indoor lab work! The balance sounded perfect for what I needed until I found out that it also includes counting egg’s in goat poop =_= and collecting it >___< of course. He left that part out

I spose it’s still exactly the experience I need, even more so I guess, but eww! At least I get gloves

So my summer will be spent living at the college and doing that along with continueing to work on this little side project with yeast. It started as me just being interested in continuing a lab we did in class by using this new equipment that they got that they wanted to use in the fermentation lab for next year, but some stuff came up in the data that was pretty unexpected and bizarre! So that’s as exciting as it can be!... Unfortunately that doesn’t come with pay, it only pays in by being really interesting... to me at least XÞ~.

The other main work for the summer pays though! We decided (mainly forced by lack of AA table) to get a dealer’s room table at Otakon this year! So Rebecca and I will be making stuff for that all summer. All in all this should be a very productive summer! Goat poop, parasite eggs, yeast, anime!? What part of that doesn’t sound good!?

I’m desperately hoping to have time for artwork though too. I think there’s a good chance since I’ll be living at the college rather then commuting, which murdered at least an hour a day. I’m optimistic, as usual, but we’ll see how this one plays out.
